English level B1 Intermediate is the fourth level of proficiency in English, where learners have an intermediate command of the language. At this level, learners can communicate effectively in most situations that require a direct exchange of information on familiar topics. They can use a range of grammar structures and vocabulary to express themselves, understand simple and more complex texts, and participate in conversations on a wider range of topics. However, they may still have some difficulty with more complex language and unfamiliar situations.

How is the English course at IH Bratislava
The minimum age limit for a student to be admitted to an English course is 15 years old, therefore the language course groups are places where different generations meet. For younger learners, please see our offer of English courses for children and teenagers.You can also study English for beginners with us.
The courses are based on specially designed educational material and the lessons include all the skills: writing, grammar, reading, listening, communication.
All the levels of the English language may feature alternating qualified teachers.
