Slovak for foreigners
Courses during the semester: take place on our premises twice a week. All courses are devided into two semesters, Winter and Summer term, each term lasts for 5 months. At the end of each semester the students take an oral and writen test. Successful candidates get a certificate and can continue in a higher level course.

Conversation courses: are intended for students at intermediate (B1) level who have a greater interest in conversation rather than grammar issues. The lessons are based on engaging, communicative and current materials provided by the teacher, covering a range of communicative activities and skills.
One-to-one courses: are for students who require a more focused one on one approach to learning and the pace and progress is dictated by the teacher and the student’s needs and expectations. The time schedule is not dictated by the school and lesson times and intensity can be agreed with the teacher
Preparatory course for ECL exam: Exam dates take place twice a year and the exam is recognised as proof of level throughout the European Union. IH Bratislava also runs courses to ensure that students are fully prepared to take the exam.
Slovak Basic Flexi: a 3-day intensive course. The course focuses on basic Slovak vocabulary and communicative skills. By the end of the course, students should have a basic knowledge of Slovak and be able to form simple sentences. Students should also be able to communicatein everyday, common situations (in a restaurant, in a shop, on the street).
Price: 132 Eur (18 hours)
Summer Intensive courses: are 2-week intensive courses run throughout July and August. Lessons take place at a number of levels, generally with the lower levels taking place in July and the higher levels taking place in August. Lessons take place in the morning.
Business in a nutshell: is a course for intermediate (B1) and upper-intermediate (B2) students. It is intended for students who would like to improve their knowledge in topics related to business and economics.
Study abroad: is a tailor-made intensive one-to-one course combined with attendance in regular public courses., which takes place on our premises. Students can also be provided with accomodation in a host family/ apartment, and sightseeing trips of the city.
